Participation of representatives of the Higher School of Law of Turan University in a Kazpatent seminar

A seminar on “Legal Protection of Trademarks, Industrial Designs, and Geographical Indications in the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at the KAZPATENT branch of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Upon invitation of the organizers, the event was attended by Gulnaz Tursunkhanovna Alayeva, Professor of the Higher School of Law of Turan University, Candidate of Legal Sciences, and G.M. Kalmyrza, a third-year doctoral student in the Educational Program “Jurisprudence.” During the seminar, current issues related to the legal protection of intellectual property objects were discussed, as well as the practical challenges and aspects of their protection in professional practice. Participants also examined contemporary trends in the development of the intellectual property system in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event also addressed further cooperation and the development of partnership relations between Turan University and the KAZPATENT branch of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
